Hello and welcome to February here in Florida all you Northerners. First of all, do not expect the weather to cooperate with your plans this month. It can go from 80 degrees in the day to 40’s at night and you won’t know whether to wear shorts or a sweater every morning. Just bring a bag with extra clothes with you everywhere this month. It starts to get more normal in March and April, That’s HOT and Sticky! February also means great riding weather as Bike Week this year starts on the last day of February and goes until March 9th in Daytona Beach. We have a ton of bike shows to discuss so keep reading. We also have the Super Bowl, Valentine’s Day (Yuck), The Renaissance Festival (Huzza) and of course the State Fair! So much fun to have here in Florida this time of year!

There are a few other great events happening here in the Tampa Bay area that I think will be a lot of fun. On February 23rd the Tampa Bay Lightning are doing a “Bikers Night” at the game against the Seattle Kraken and have tickets for only $60. I have looked recently, and tickets are normally double this price, so this is a pretty good deal! To get tickets contact Jenn McMaster at 813-301-6731 or email [email protected]. Pasco Powersports is doing a Sweethearts Ride on Sunday February 16th. They are meeting at the Shop on US hwy. 19 in Port Richey at 8:30am with KSU at 9:30am. Coffee and donuts pre ride and lunch on them post ride. Sounds like a great day! Also, Circle S BBQ is doing 3 DIAMOND HEART NECLACES drawings at their Bike Night on Wednesday Feb 12th (right before Valentine’s Day). This bike night use to be Jeeps and Bikes and we need more room for bike parking, so we are making it only Bikes again! Jasmine Cain will be performing her Solo music and Circle S BBQ has some great food and drinks! Of Course, what’s February without a CHILI COOK-OFF! The Pasco Suncoast brotherhood is doing their 14th annual Chili cook-off Sunday February 16th at the VFW 6180 11551 Osceola Dr. New Port Richey Fl. FREE TO ENTER AND FREE TO TASTE! There will be a cash prize of $250 for the people’s choice so come out and vote and bring your tums! This is always a party so be sure to make your plans to attend. All these great events are sponsored by, Fran Haasch Law Group, 866-LAW FRAN or www.LAWFRAN.com

We have 6 (SIX) Bike Shows this year during Bike Week in Daytona Beach. We are really looking forward to Bike Week this year and seeing all the great bikes and people that come to Florida for Bike Week. Of Course, Our biggest show is the Boardwalk Bike Show that happens this year on Friday March 7th. We are shooting to make it the LARGEST BIKE SHOW AT BIKE WEEK by getting over 200 bikes to enter the show (That is not entries because some bikes enter multiple classes) this is Physical Bikes entered in the show! I have been in Daytona for a long time and can’t remember seeing a show with that many bikes entering ever before. Of course we have a full list of our shows in this months magazine as well. We start at Teddy Morse Harley under the pavilion with our Bike Week Kick-Off Bike Show. Next is a new show Sunday at Beachside in Ormond Beach. Then our next show is Tuesday with Street Bagger Magazine at the Beaver Bar and that is called the battle at the Beaver Bar! One of our more talked about shows is the next show that happens at Grandview Live on Thursday Night starting at 8pm and goes till about 1am. This is always a blast and when you enter the show you get into the club for FREE, if you want to go inside that is, the bike show is outside in the parking lot and this year we have amped up the audio portion of the show and brough in Showkills Audio to help run that side of the event as Full Throttle will handle the bike show side of it. We hope this will bring more people and be a little more professionally done. Friday we talked about the Boardwalk Bike Show already, then on Saturday we have a newer show that we have done the past few years at the Winghouse on International Drive near the speedway. This year we am,ped up the prizes for this show and will have $200 for Best In Show and $100 for Judges Choice along with trophies!!!! All of this can be found on our website and Facebook Page! If you have any questions feel free to call or email me at 727-919-1743 or [email protected] – We are always looking for Sponsors for these shows also if you want to set up and/or be part of one of these great bike shows we host at Bike Week.

Have a great month and we are really looking forward to Bike Week in Daytona Beach this year, we hope to see you all there. Be safe, be smart, don’t drink and ride and I see you soon!
